Blizzard!
Okay, maybe it's not a blizzard out there today but it's pretty damn close. What constitutes a blizzard anyway? All I know is how glad I am that I took the 4WD vehicle today instead of the minivan. It's AWFUL out there.
So here I am, stuck at work, all alone. That's right, my assistant has decided to go Christmas shopping today, leaving me to fend for myself. My office is actually in a building about half a mile away from the rest of the staff so I'm REALLY alone - and freezing, and bored (I'm about to hold a pity party for myself). I also forgot to pack something for lunch which will leave me to pick through the "back-up" food in our office kitchen.
Here are 13 things I could have for lunch:
- Club crackers
- decaf Cinnamon coffee
- stale bread
- blackberry jam
- Redi-Whip whipped cream
- veggie cream cheese
- an orange
- mustard/ketchup/mayo
- microwave kettle corn
- southwest ranch veggie dip
- easy cheese (from a can)
- marshmallow fluff
- dark chocolate peanut butter (if you have not tried this you must!)
Hmmm. Maybe I'll just do a whippit and eat the fluff and chocolate peanut butter with a spoon. If only...
STAY WARM!
It sounds like today would be a good Domino's Pizza day. Try entering "lunch for delivery" plus your city/state on Google. If they object to just one lunch, maybe order four - and store the rest for NEXT week!

I vote for fluff and chocolate peanut butter on stale bread. Heat the bread for 15 seconds in the microwave first to soften it. Some easy cheese on club crackers and an orange.
I don't see what the problem is....;p

Don't let PGirl fool all of you! Her building may be 1/2 a mile from the other staff, but it is also right on the main highway. So if you're thinking of her getting chased Nicholson-style, ala "The Shining", through a snowy maze, forget it! All she has to do is call the pizza place across the street for assistance.
