JAM ON IT

Okay y'all. Not many things can bring this crazy busy PGirl out or her blogless life of late - except, that is, a freaking JAM reunion on The Office (thanks for the prodding wordnerd... I needed it!)

Please tell me you saw it, otherwise this blog entry will surely lose you. Here goes my take:

I spent most of my time during the episode laughing, yet thinking it would be a major cliff hanger in which they would let on NOTHING we didn't already know. I was pleasantly surprised. I could have done without all the lobby scenes in Dunder Mifflin NYC office. Galoot kept saying, "ooohh.... and old flame..." and I'm like thinking, "when the hell did Jim date her?" Uh yeah... apparently he meant a real-life old flame. Galoot dated the receptionist chick many moons ago (and proceeded to run that fact into the ground by replaying her moments on screen on the DVR a few times over). Besides that, the whole episode was AWESOME. Favorite part? - of course it was when Jim busted into Pam's confessional at the end - but there were so many good moments, it's hard to choose. The chick who plays Jan is so good in that role and Michael playing a little Natalie Merchant certainly had us cracking up too. One of my favorite supporting characters is Creed. This dude is effed up. Go to NBC.com and read his blog entries. Hysterical.

So back to the JIM+PAM=JAM. How cute was he at the end? - and how cute was she when she forgot the question? I sooooo can't wait to see how they pick up this story in the fall. As you may have read on Galoot's blog, there is a lot of speculation about who the guy in New York was talking to. Was it Karen? and was Karen the one talking then to Ryan? Hard to say. My theory is that Karen got the NY job and she then called Ryan to become her assistant (or something along those lines). YOUR THOUGHTS???

What Up?

What's been going down in Preppy world you ask? Just SUPER busy. That fateful summer season is upon me and work has been cah-razy. By the time I come home, I'm usually ready to drop. Ugh.

So last night we went to a fundraiser where you could win up to $5000 in cash. The tickets were $100 - more than we could probably afford - but our recent tax return and a chance at the top prize seemed like good reasons to take a shot.

I'd like to tell you at this point that we won the big prize - fat chance. We did however walk away with a gift (which was more than some people). That's right folks, we are now the proud recipients of 3 hours of cleaning service! Sounds good to me! Think they'll be willing to paint the living room too? I can dream.

PGirl Junior was back to school this week and my son never came down with the pox - (I say with fingers crossed). Plus, our weather has been amazing. It seems that spring has finally sprung.

New Office tonight. Go JAM!
