Did I Miss the Memo?

Help me out here. When did it become fashionable to let your underwear hang out? It is called UNDERwear for a reason. It is amazing to me that exposed bra straps and undies are not only acceptable - they're fahionable. I don't get it. I mean, I realize that it is sometimes hard to hide those bra straps in a tank top, but at least try. At least wear a bra that is the same color as your shirt. Fast back bras with spaghetti strap tanks? I don't get it. Not to mention these new shirts that look like lingerie. WTF???

While I'm on the subject, why is it that some heavier girls insist on wearing clothes that are too tight or let their belly hang out? I understand that we all gain weight (I am the president of the "post-baby" belly club), and it can get expensive to buy new clothes (not to mention depressing). But what I'm talking about are people who won't accept their size. If you're an 18, don't buy a 12. Embrace your chubbiness. Smaller clothes make you look bigger. JEESH.

Rant of the day over.

I recently attended a function that was "fancy". I didn't see any odd colored bras but I did see a lot women who looked like sausage links (like the whole chain) because their dresses were too tight and they weren't wearing the appropriate foundation. Hello ladies, if you have a roll at the top of your bra, bottom of your bra, top of your panties, and bottom of your panties then it's too tight! Also, if you are out of High School you should not wear the poufy tulle filled princess dresses (one exception is if you are getting married).
My advice is if you're over 30 and over a size 12 you can't go wrong with a skort (my husband says "nothing says MILF like a skort" ha). PreppyGirl, I knows yous loves your skorts.

Very true... me loves me skorts!

I hate seeing a bra strap. I hated it when Madonna did it in the 80's. Oh well, guess it takes all types.
