Randomness Abounds

- I would like to thank the huge SUV that parked WAY over the yellow line in my daughter's school parking lot this morning. I only needed one can opener and a crowbar to exit my vehicle.
- I have discovered a new channel on my Sirius radio called Coffeehouse. It plays a lot of acoustic versions of pop songs mixed in with a lot of covers. If you've got Sirius, check it out on channel 30.
- Princess is coming to visit and I'm totally jazzed. Anyone wanna come to a Body Shop party Friday night? 6:30, my place, BYOB.
- I saw a coat last week that I cannot stop thinking about. Must. Buy. Coat. But will it still be there by the time I make it back to the store? I'll keep ya posted.
- Did you vote today? Don't forget!
- My husband is pretty awesome. He took the kids to the mall last week for several hours so I could have the freedom to clean like a mad woman. They apparently also made a stop at the photo booth (the results of which you'll see at the right).
- A good friend of mine just moved. I called her number last night and a woman answered. "Hi", I said. Silence. "Hello?" - a voice said "who is this?" - "umm, preppygirl" - then the voice said rather curtly "you have the wrong number!" and hung up. I hit redial - the display showed the correct number. I called my friend's mom who told me the phone company hadn't switched the line over yet and it was still ringing at their old place. The new tenants are pissed about it so they are telling everyone they have the wrong number. WTF??
- Last night before bed, Galoot was channel surfing. He landed on the ending of a Cosby episode. Cliff had set up a special anniversary dinner for Claire in the dining room. Unfortunately, Cliff comes down with the flu and must stay in bed while Claire enjoys the special Carribbean dinner and music (being played by 7 or 8 live musicians). As Claire sits down alone to eat, Galoot very seriously says: "This must be the episode where she blows all the band members after dinner." All I could say was, "You ass."
That's all I got. Peace!
Whenever Claire would eat good food, she would appear on the verge of a gasm. The chef was making some very serious eyes at her. After he "ladled Claire's soup", she took a sip and was so overwhelmed that all she could do was give an "okay" signal. Put some cheesecloth over the lens, change the music and it was practically a Skinemax flick. I'm telling you!

Our daycare center is actually our polling place, too. On election day, the parking lot is WAY fuller than usual, thus increasing the likelihood of encountering the bad parkers...But how convenient is that for us? I vote when I drop off our son, and hubby votes when he picks him up.
We have one of those photo booths at the mall...We might need to do that. I remember there was one in Woolworths when I was in high school, and a friend of mine and I would go in it about every week and each keep two pictures...I wonder if I still have those pictures?

I'll send you a "note" I've made that I, at times, leave on ass parked cars.
Good luck with the coat!
What a cute family you have! Everyone looks happy and pg2 is too cute with her missing teeth!
Galoot is "simply" a man! Thus, an ass! But we love them that way! ;-)

Jenny - I could easily love a woman who puts convention pics on her website! Nice dialogue between you and your hubby too!

R - I'm with ya on the Claire thing. Galoot's got issues with Phylica Rashaad.
GG - thanks!
SPaw - can't wait to see the note - still thinking about the coat...
Jenny - me too...
